With each item that the card is used to make a purchase, the holder can decide if that is to be paid in full or over a period of time. This way you decide how much is to be paid on the big ticket items each month while paying off the use at the gas station and grocery store in full each month.

If you have a time limit for the entire balance to be paid off, you can notify Chase of this and they will set up a payment schedule so you can achieve your goal. This is a good option to have unless you pay your balance in full each month, then it is totally useless.

This card features an introductory APR of 0%. This can last up to 12 billing cycles for purchases and balance transfers or just 6 billing cycles. This will be determined by Chase in accordance to your credit worthiness.  Once the account is opened, holders should register online to learn more about the Blueprint features. For U.S. issued cards only, there is a Zero Liability protection on unauthorized purchases.

After the expiration of the introductory period, the APR will be raised. The amount is determined by Chase and how they feel your credit worthiness is rated. For those that fall into the elite status, the APR will be 13.24%, the premium rate will be 17.24%, and the standard rate will be 22.24%. All of these rates are variable and will go up or down according to prime rate.
